Extreme Team Completes Dominant Month of January

Published on February 8, 2011

January has turned into February and the Extreme Team is continuing their hot streak! The team left Jackson and headed to their next show with their friends at TBO: Monroe, LA. Unfortunately, mechanical gremlins overcame the Ballistic truck on Friday, but it was business as usual on Saturday as Mac earned 2nd in racing and dominated the freestyle competition. The final show of the weekend saw Mac back at 100% as Ballistic would go on to win both the wheelie and freestyle competitions to close the weekend and, on top of it all, the truck was in one piece!

The next two weeks took the Extreme Team to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Tupelo, Mississippi with six shows in two weekends. Mac piloted Ballistic to a very impressive showing, earning a clean sweep of wheelie and freestyle in all 6 competitions and boasting a 70% win percentage in all competitions between both shows! At the end of January, Mac is #1 in total freestyle wins in all of monster trucks with 9 wins and is currently tied with Bigfoot #14 and Grave Digger The Legend for third in overall wheelie wins in the monster truck industry.

The team has arrived in Tupelo, Mississippi for their final TBO Entertainment show of 2011. From there, the team heads to one of their favorite shows yearly in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Darryl Starbird Car Show and Battle of the Monster Trucks. Stay tuned to the website in the next few weeks for updates on the team!

With momentum on their side, the team left a snowy Georgia with Jackson, Mississippi in their sights. This past weekend would be the first of the 2011 TBO Entertainment Tour, which the Extreme Team is proud to be a part of once again this season. Mac dominated all three wheelie competitions over the course of the weekend, walking the Ballistic truck across the cars in a nearly vertical position each hit! In racing, Mac earned an impressive second place finish each of the racing competitions and won two of the three freestyle wins over the course of the weekend!

The team will make adjustments and minor repairs in preparation for their next two shows for TBO in Monroe, Louisiana and Baton Rouge, Louisiana to finish out the first month of the year. Stay tuned to the site in the next few weeks for a full update from Mac and Liz as they attempt to continue their win streak!

Extreme Team Welcomes Schroth Racing Harnesses

Published on December 27, 2010

The Extreme Team is proud to announce their new partnership with Scroth Racing. Based out of Danvers, MA., Schroth Racing is famous for their quality constructed and highly affordable racing harnesses which are used in NASCAR and Formula 1 racing.

Schroth Racing Harnesses are constructed out of Polyester, allowing less stretch compared to the industry competitor Nylon straps within motorsports today. Furthermore, the straps to be used in the Ballistic monster race truck are a 2 inch shoulder strap that can be easily converted to a 3 inch strap for a broader support area for retaining Mac’s upper body in competition. The Schroth harnesses are adaptable to the HANS devices used in the monster truck industry today.

Visit Schroth Racing at www.SchrothRacing.com for information regarding their products and look for Schroth products in the Ballistic monster truck in the upcoming 2011 season.
